Crevalle jack (Caranx hippos)
The Crevalle jack is found on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean from
Adult Crevalle jacks swim in fast-moving schools in open water over outer reefs and the continental shelf. Juveniles are abundant in estuaries and inshore areas near sand beaches and seagrass beds.
