Instructor-Led Program
$13 per Student for Instructor Led, $16 per Student for Discovery Labs
Annual passes are not valid for school programs.
Our Instructor Led programs provide focused learning opportunities where students can expand their understanding of aquatic ecosystems. Programs are aligned to the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) and include a downloadable Teacher Guide with pre- and post-visit activities. Instructor Led programs are 45 minutes in length. Groups will have the remainder of their time at the Aquarium to explore the wonders of the aquatic worlds.
Instructor-Led Programs take place Monday-Friday and are scheduled at:
9:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Discovery Labs Programs take place Monday-Friday and are scheduled at 11:45 a.m.
AT&T Dolphin Tales Show - Add on $4 per person
Our new show, more than two years in the making, is a spectacular production created specifically for Georgia Aquarium. The memorable tale is narrated by the StarSpinner, a mysterious seafaring adventurer who leads the way through an interactive journey across the oceans and through an epic battle against villains of the ocean.
Program Options
Aquarium 101
Through an exploration of the Aquarium’s exhibits and behind the scenes areas, students will be exposed to aquarium careers, research efforts, conservation programs and understand how the Aquarium meets the diverse needs of our animals.

Animal Behavior
Before animals can live in an aquarium, biologists must understand what they need and how they behave. Students will discover how the Aquarium staff maintains the health of our animals as well as the training and enrichment techniques used in the process.

NEW! Discovery Labs
Discovery Labs are opportunities for classes to dive into science. Through in-depth investigations, students will explore the concepts of marine biology and oceanography. These interactive labs bring science to life and provide an opportunity for students to solve problems, engage in group discussions and get their hands wet.
Program size – Min of 20 students, max of 50 students
Program length – 75 minutes
Cost - $16 per student (plus tax)
This program is only available August 20th through February 28th.

Using the science of genetics and animal management, students will learn the many ways marine mammal populations are managed in zoological settings.
