Coastal America Ocean Art Contest - Winners
Last fall, the Georgia Aquarium hosted a Regional Coastal America Ocean Art Contest for grades K-College. The purpose of this Ocean Art Contest was to draw upon youth's artistic expression to convey the importance of ocean, coasts and Great Lakes. Winning artwork from each of the regional sites will advance to the national competition later in March. We are happy to annouce our regional winners and runner-ups:

All of the artwork was judged on its strong visual impact, artistic merit and how clearly it communicated the vision of our Nation's Ocean Policy, "An America whose stewardship ensures that the ocean, our coasts, and the Great Lakes are healthy and resilient, safe and productive, and understood and treasured so as to promote the wellbeing, prosperity, and security of present and future generations.
