Closed-Circuit Rebreather Dive Program

Experience a Rebreather with Whale Sharks
Deepen your experience and extend your bottom time: in conjunction with our renowned SCUBA program, Georgia Aquarium is now proud to offer a try-dive rebreather experience (no bubbles!). Now guests can enjoy our majestic whale sharks, manta rays, and other exotic species while donning some of the newest and most innovative rebreather equipment to date. Open Water SCUBA divers ages 15 and up are eligible to participate in this all-inclusive experience with over an hour dive time. All equipment is provided, however, divers are encouraged to bring their personal masks.

We strongly recommend that rebreather participants are proficient divers who are interested in the technology of closed-circuit rebreathers and are confident using unfamiliar equipment.
