Pre-K Instructor-Led Program
Our Instructor-Led programs provide focused learning opportunities where students can expand their understanding of aquatic ecosystems. Programs are aligned to Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) and include a downloadable Teacher Guide with pre- and post-visit activities. Instructor-Led programs are 45 minutes in length. Groups will have the remainder of their time at the Aquarium to explore the wonders of the aquatic worlds.
Programs take place Monday-Friday and are scheduled for: 9:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
Admission to all presentations is included with your ticket but is subject to timing and availability. We are not able to adjust instructor led program to accommodate for show times.
Annual passes are not valid for school programs.
Why can't a whale shark eat pizza? Can you breathe oxygen underwater? Come explore a diverse selection of habitats to discover where different plants and animals live and what they need to survive. Throughout our journey, we will predict, observe, and compare/contrast across habitats. Let's dive in!
*Note: programs within “Eco-Essentials” are tailored to be developmentally appropriate for each grade level. The Pre-K program route will be a shorter walking distance than the K-2 program.

Sponsored Education Admissions
Georgia Aquarium developed the Sponsored Education Admissions (SEA) program in an effort to ensure diverse audiences, regardless of economic status, have an opportunity to participate in our unique educational experiences at a reduced rate or free of charge. Through the generous contributions of local and national individuals, foundations and corporations, we are able to offer this gift to schools and nonprofit organizations operating in the state of Georgia. The availability of funds will determine the number of schools/nonprofit organizations selected to receive sponsored admission.
