Catch Em’ All at Georgia Aquarium
Pokémon GO is taking the virtual world by storm, and included in this latest phenomenon is Georgia Aquarium! From Goldeen to Squirtle and Zubat to Pidgey, increase your Pokédex while exploring the real creatures that also call Georgia Aquarium home. Below are a few tips for playing Pokémon GO at and around the Aquarium:
Summer is a popular time for Georgia Aquarium, so arrive early right before we open at 9 a.m. for quick entry to the Aquarium. Can’t come in the morning? Take advantage of Imagination Nights, where after 4 p.m. every day of the week you save up to 30% off general admission…You might even catch some nocturnal Pokémon once the sun goes down!
There are four pokéstops located inside Georgia Aquarium, and two located right outside. As the largest Aquarium in North America with six galleries and more than 100 exhibits, there’s plenty to see while going on a #PokeGOWalk to help hatch eggs. Pro Tip: Get your general admission ticket stamped at the Information Desk for re-entry up to 1 hour, allowing you to catch even more Pokémon during your visit!
