Size of group
All parties are designed for 15 people or more (children and adults). Children under 1 admitted free. A maximum of 50 people may attend a party in one room. Parties of 25 people or more are subject to room availability.

Saturdays: 10-11:30 a.m.; 12:30-2 p.m.; 3-4:30 p.m
Sundays: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 2-3:30 p.m.

Party location
Themed party areas are behind-the-scenes and are off limits to the general public.

$45 per person plus tax (15 person minimum; 50 person maximum)

Deepo, Dolphin, Ocean, Pirate, Mermaid, Shark or Young Scientist (11 years and up)

Meal Option:
The Cafe Aquaria Combo is offered at $12 extra per person and can be enjoyed before or after your party in our cafe. The Cafe Aquaria Combo includes a choice of hamburger, hot dog, chicken fingers or pizza and comes with a recycled tote packed with bottled water, goldfish crackers and a piece of fruit.

Upon arrival to the aquarium, party guests enter all together and check-in at the orange Guest Services desk just inside the main entrance. Party attendees will be greeted by a party coordinator and given their tickets and materials for the day.

Additional time will not be provided in the party room if party is tardy. All parties must end on time to access to the room for any other events or activities. Parties should give themselves plenty of time to park and navigate to the aquarium entrance.

Parties are available for all ages.

All participants must stay with the party during the 90-minute party time. Once party is released into the Aquarium, we advise parents to stay with children.

If parents are dropping off children for party, please arrange to meet the children afterward. Georgia Aquarium is not responsible for children that are dropped off. Your party coordinator will meet your party group at the main Aquarium entrance to facilitate group entry into the Aquarium.

Transportation of items from the parking lot to the party room is not the responsibility of Georgia Aquarium. We are able to check presents for you complimentary at the information desk.

Can we bring our own food?
Outside food is not allowed in the Aquarium but you are welcome to enjoy our Cafe Aquaria options inside. The Cafe Aquaria Combo is available for advance purchase. All food purchases including Cafe Aquaria Combo must be enjoyed either before or after the party in the cafe seating area. Food can not be delivered to the party room. Guest Programs (facilitators) will set aside seating for party upon request.

What type of games will you provide?
We have various games that match the theme of each party as well as typical children's games. Choice of games we play will depend on the amount of time available.

Is there a limit to the number of guests we can invite?
All parties are designed for at least 15 people. Each party area can hold up to 50 people. Parties of 25 or more may be booked based on availability of room space.

Can I have extra time in the room if needed?
The rooms are booked for set times to allow time to clean for the next event or activity, therefore you can only book the room for the set time. If you would like a longer or larger party, you can book two time slots.

Will the cake be decorated with theme of the party?
Yes, the cake and room will be decorated with the theme of the party. The cake will also include the child's name.

Is the tour through the Aquarium a guided tour?
During the party, there is a behind-the-scenes tour that takes you to the top of several galleries for children ages 5 and older. Children under 5 must each be accompanied by an adult to participate in the tour. Tour schedule may be adjusted to accomodate children under 5. The admission into the Aquarium is at your leisure before or after the party and is not a guided tour.

Is the $10 gift card for the Aquarium or can it be used anywhere?
The gift card is for use inside the Aquarium and can be used at any location in the Aquarium, including the gift shops and Cafe Aquaria.

How can I find out about parties for teens and adults?
We have a party program for all ages. Parties include admission, birthday cake and a tour of some of the spectacular behind-the-scenes areas. We can host showers, reunions and more. Please contact 404-581-4121 for more information.

Is it possible for a diver to hold up a happy birthday sign for my child in one of the galleries?
This is available at an extra cost.

What is in the gift bag?
It contains an assortment of items that tie into the theme of the party. Items may include bubbles, stickers, water gun, and other toys.

Is there a ratio between adults to children?
There is a minimum of 2 adults per 15 person party; After that, 1 adult per 10 children.

$300 non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking. Final guest count and final payment are due three weeks before party date.

Booking can be made by calling Georgia Aquarium at 404-581-4121. All dates are subject to availability and book up quickly so book your party today!

When booking a party, the party room is available only for the time booked, therefore parties should start on time to receive the full experience.

All persons attending the party are included in the party count except for children under the age of one.

Party will be decorated in party theme by facilitators but parents are welcome to bring decorations or gift bags. Please let us know if this is the case. Balloons and straws are not allowed in the Aquarium. Provided decorations provided include tablecloths and themed centerpiece.

One parking pass will be provided. Please check in with parking attendant and present parking pass upon exiting parking garage. Additional parking passes are available for purchase.

Date Changes

Date changes must be made at least three weeks before the scheduled party. All changes made less than three weeks of the party date will incur a $100 fee in addition to the total party charge, payable on the date the change is made. If a requested date change is unavailable due to party bookings by other Georgia Aquarium patrons, unfortunately, the request must be considered a cancellation. We will be happy to place you on a waiting list.

Cancellations

All deposits are nonrefundable. A written request is required for all refunds over the non-refundable $300 deposit if you need to cancel. Cancellations made less than three weeks before party date will incur a 50% fee of the total cost of the party. Written requests should be made to mfranklin@georgiaaquarium.org with "Party Cancellation" on the subject line.

Refunds

All deposits are nonrefundable. All refund requests for additional moneys paid must be submitted in writing. There are no refunds for no-shows or tardiness.
