WORLD OCEANS DAY AT GEORGIA AQUARIUM
When: Saturday, June 8, 2013,
World Oceans Day Scavenger Hunt & Workshop: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
On World Oceans Day people around the planet celebrate and honor the body of water which links us all, both for what it provides humans and for what it represents. One need only look at an image from space to see that our planet should have been named “Ocean” rather than “Earth.”
It’s up to each of us to help ensure our world ocean is protected and conserved for the future.

World Oceans Day Scavenger Hunt with Buddy the Dinosaur and
Meet at LUVie’s Dive Shop inside Tropical Diver to pick up your scavenger hunt questions. Travel the oceans of Georgia Aquarium to find the answers and return your paper to the Dive Shop. You’ll receive a special prize that you can plant!
Visit with Buddy the Dinosaur from PBS’s Dinosaur Train.
Buddy will be at the Aquarium to meet you and take photos!
Plant a flower with Southwest Airlines.
Visit the Southwest table in the Atrium for your fun planting project. You can color the pot and then take your project home. Watch the fun “dirt pod” expand to fill up the whole pot when you add water to it. Then plant flowers to grow and enjoy!

Build a sailboat or create a picture frame!
