All Access Backstage Pass

Go behind closed doors to unlock the secrets of day-to-day operations at Georgia Aquarium. Discover some of the mysteries of water and learn about our research and conservation initiatives. Plus, you get an exclusive behind the scenes look at all our galleries. This tour is for ages 7 and up only.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Learn about the history of the development of the largest Aquarium in North America.
  • Observe how the Aquarium team cares for our animals and prepares their food as you visit the Correll Center for Aquatic Animal Health and Georgia Aquarium commissary.
  • Enjoy the view at the top of the largest ocean exhibit in North America, Ocean Voyager Built by The Home Depot, and observe the largest fish in the world, the whale shark, as it swims below you.
  • Visit the top of the live coral reef exhibit above Tropical Diver Presented by Southwest and discover the secrets of tropical waters and mangrove forests.
  • Go behind the scenes of other Georgia Aquarium galleries and facilities.

Tour Times: Tours offered daily at 11 a.m, 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
Cost: $48 plus tax per person over general admission.
Tour Length: approximately one 1 hour and 30 minutes
Meeting Place: Tour desk is on the second floor of the atrium next to the 4D Theater. Check in is 15 minutes prior to the start of the selected tour.
No high heels allowed on the tour.
