The 4D Theater and Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow
Along with seeing the thousands of animals at the Georgia Aquarium, what if you could also experience the underwater world from their point of view? By combining digital projection, a high definition 3D film and unique special effects, the Georgia Aquarium’s 4D Theater allows guests to do exactly that.
The 4D Theater is one of the most advanced in the world, employing interactive seats and unique special effects that are built into the theater itself. By creating a set of “4D” effects that are synchronized to the film production, the 4D Theater adds another layer of immersive fun for audiences. As a jellyfish swims by in 3D, the audience also feels its tingling tentacles brush along their arms, creating a more thrilling experience.
Playing in the 4D Theater is Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow presented by AT&T and created by Gary Goddard Entertainment, who designed the Terminator II and Jurassic Park rides at Universal Studios. Join Deepo, an orange garibaldi fish and the Aquarium’s mascot, as he takes the audience on an undersea adventure with a variety of entertaining characters, including friendly sharks, singing sea turtles and playful dolphins. As the audience enjoys the show, Deepo leads an educational experience, revealing the interconnected lives of underwater creatures and the destructive impact of pollution on the ocean and its inhabitants.
The 4D Theater holds up to 250 guests per show, with multiple shows per day. Tickets can be booked online in advance or purchased at the Aquarium. Please visit the 4D Theater box office the day of your visit to see the day's show times. Admission to the 4D Theater is $5.50 for adults and $4.00 for children (age 3-12).
Please Note: DEEPO’S UNDERSEA 3D WONDERSHOW often sells out due to its popularity. We recommend you purchase your tickets in advance to guarantee you can attend the show at the time you prefer.
