The Next Wave Society provides members unique networking and social gatherings to encourage a bond between Next Wave members, while also raising community awareness for the Society and Georgia Aquarium programs. You can also play an integral role in planning our major fundraisers specifically, Fish & Chips Golf Tournament, Aqua Vino and Red, White & Brew. Below is a list of events each member is encouraged to attend or support.

Georgia Aquarium’s 8th annual Fish & Chips Golf Tournament is the continuation of a great tradition. This event held at the world class East Lake Golf Club and an annual day of competition and camaraderie on the course, is a major fundraiser for the Georgia Aquarium.

Red, White & Brew
Georgia Aquarium Oceans Ballroom & Parking Deck
This Fourth of July, celebrate this All-American holiday with awesome beer, food, live music and fun! Red White & Brew, which benefits Georgia Aquarium's education initiatives, will be hosted in Oceans Ballroom and on the Aquarium's parking deck rooftop with the city's best views of the Centennial Olympic Park firework show. This event caters to a family friendly crowd, with activities and fun on the rooftop and also for the beer lovers with a 21+ event in our ballroom.
