Day 8

24 Hour Delay

Disappointment spread throughout the team as word spread that a mechanical failure on the 747 would move the transport back 24 hours. It was something the team had experienced in the past. Each year that the Aquarium transported whale sharks from Taiwan, a 24-hour delay occurred for one reason or another. One more day away from families, one more day before attempting what no one has attempted before, would all be OK in beautiful South Africa.
