Long way from home
It takes nearly 24 hours to get from Atlanta, Georgia, to Durban, South Africa. Sleep? Not possible with the excitement building for the journey ahead. A nine hour, 5,000-mile flight got us halfway for a quick refueling stop, then back up again for another tiresome flight. This was only to land in Johannesburg, switch airlines and take the last leg into Durban.
