Our Journey

Day 7

Hluhluwe Game Reserve

The team had an extra day on their hands that was held back to deal with logistical challenges that never formulated. The team had a chance of a lifetime to go to one of South Africa's biggest Game Reserves just a few hours North of Durban, Hluhluwe, pronounced shoe-shoe-lee. It was an incredible experience - elephants used trees like toothpicks just feet from the vehicle, the rarely seen cheetahs frolicked nearby and wildebeest grunted with disapproval of their photo being taken. All in all, the team saw seventeen different species in the game park that thrilled the team with excitement.
