Georgia Aquarium Announces AT&T as New Dolphin Gallery Sponsor

Atlanta (January 14, 2011) –

The Georgia Aquarium today announced AT&T as the official presenting sponsor of the new dolphin gallery, AT&T Dolphin Tales. The new $110 million addition, set to open later this year, will be the Aquarium’s largest expansion to date.

AT&T has been a presenting sponsor of the Georgia Aquarium since its opening in 2005. Dolphin viewing and a unique entertainment experience are both part of the new AT&T Dolphin Tales gallery. This new sponsorship also supports dolphin conservation and research initiatives, including dolphin health studies and the rescue and rehabilitation of stranded animals through the Georgia Aquarium’s Dolphin Conservation Field Station at Marineland.
