Georgia Aquarium's AT&T Dolphin Tales Splashes Around Southeast

New mobile tour to inspire and education dolphin lovers

Atlanta (April 22, 2011) –

As Georgia Aquarium launches its much-anticipated AT&T Dolphin Tales gallery and show, a 30-stop mobile tour will make waves throughout the Southeastern United States this spring and summer. Like the AT&T Dolphin Tales exhibit, which officially opens April 2, the mobile tour experience is dedicated to inspiring memorable connections between humans and dolphins.

The traveling dolphin experience was designed to engage its guests in the lives of dolphins, showcasing hints of the compelling AT&T Dolphin Tales show and its host, the StarSpinner. As part of the 75-foot, walk-through experience, guests are invited to set sail on a recreation of the ship’s deck.  They will be introduced to the mystical, seafaring AT&T Dolphin Tales environment as they engage with dolphins through interactive video and educational displays, all utilizing forms of cutting-edge AT&T communications technology.

While visiting the mobile tour, guests can also enjoy entertaining activities, contests and Georgia Aquarium mascot appearances at most tour stops, which include local schools, community events and area retail centers. The tour kicks off on Saturday, April 2 at Georgia Aquarium and will also be open to the public as AT&T Dolphin Tales officially opens on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3. In addition to metro Atlanta, additional major tour stops include Birmingham, AL; Valdosta, GA; Greenville, SC; Asheville, NC; and Charlotte, NC.
