The Georgia Aquarium is open 365 days a year. Please note that hours of operation do vary.

Regular Hours:
Sunday - Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Exceptions & Extended Hours:

October 

  • October 29: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

November 

  • November 25-28: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

December 

  • December 19-23: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • December 24: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • December 25: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • December 26-31: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

With multiple shows throughout the day, be sure to catch this unique experience at Georgia Aquarium. Purchase tickets online or at the 4D Theater box office.

Behind the Scenes Tours

Best to book in advance, our Behind the Scenes Tours offer a backstage pass to all the care that goes into our beloved animals.

Journey with Gentle Giants

Swim or SCUBA dive in the Ocean Voyager exhibit, built by The Home Depot. Swims are daily at 3 p.m., and SCUBA dives are daily at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Spots are limited, so it's best to book in advance.

Growing Guppies

This new program is designed to help your child (age 2-5) learn about the wonders of the ocean and its many inhabitants through crafts, puppets, storytelling and more! Occurs every Thursday and Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Reservations are encouraged.
