During the week of Nov. 7-15, 2009, the Georgia Aquarium is offering a 10% discount to our military personnel and their families. By showing a Military ID, all Active, Retired and Reserve personnel and their families can take advantage of this special offer.
Then join us on Nov. 7 as Georgia Aquarium, in partnership with the World of Coca-Cola, hosts its annual U.S. Armed Forces Celebration Day in Pemberton Place Park, located between the Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. The event is free and open to the public. With a special focus on military appreciation, public support and education, the day will feature demonstrations with military personnel and equipment. Georgia Aquarium Princess Day:
A Benefit for Frog Conservation
Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m
Girls 12 and under in Princess costume receive FREE admission*
It's B.Y.O.T (Bring Your Own Tiara). Frog kissing is optional! The Georgia Aquarium is committed to ensuring the survival and conservation of all amphibian species, and what better way to highlight the struggles of the world's amphibians than to join with the frog's greatest friend, the princess.
Presented by Walt Disney Pictures' The Princess and the Frog, Georgia Aquarium's Princess Day invites all princesses to join Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Ariel as they appear in person to help raise awareness for frog conservation. There are special parades, photo opportunities, arts, crafts and games - all with princesses! Don't forget about lots of frogs, too!
Special giveaways will include frog-inspired items from Walt Disney Pictures' The Princess and the Frog. Opens nationwide December 11, 2009.

Join Georgia Aquarium’s Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr. Greg Bossart, on Dec. 21 for the third installment of our NEW Science on Tap lecture series. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages in our stunning Oceans Ballroom while Dr. Gregory Bossart, Senior Vice President and Chief Veterinary Officer at the Georgia Aquarium, will discuss unique case histories and possible causes of stranded marine mammals along the north-central Atlantic coastline and the important role the Georgia Aquarium’s new Dolphin Conservation Field Station at Marineland, Florida plays in this research.
