Member Information
Georgia Aquarium is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that relies on the support of the community to grow our programs and scientific efforts. To learn more about our conservation efforts click here.
The following information is designed to answer questions and offer tips for members.
Reservations
Annual Pass members are not required to have a reservation. We strongly recommend that you purchase tickets for your guests in advance. We can not guarantee that we will have immediate openings for your guests to enter the Aquarium. Members are encouraged to use the Members Lane, located at the main entrance, and you are welcome to accompany your guests through this entrance as well.

E-Newsletter
We send out all Aquarium communications electronically. We send invitations, special offers and our newsletter all to the email address you used when you purchased your membership. By eliminating printing and postage we are promoting conservation. Help us keep in touch with you by keeping the e-mail address on your account current. Members Lane
While the regular Members Entrance is closed due to construction, we have created a fast Members Lane at the main entrance. We value our Members and want you to continue to easily and quickly enter the Aquarium. For Member Services, please visit the Information Desk at the main entrance or located inside the Atrium.
Annual Pass Cards
In an effort to ensure efficiency of your next visit and future visits, visiting Annual Pass holders who have not taken their photo will be required to have their photo taken upon entry into the Aquarium. Annual Pass holders should visit the Information Desk located at the main entrance or in the Atrium to have their photo taken and receive an Annual Pass card. Please arrive prepared to have your permanent pass made with a photo ID and order confirmation number.
Please remember that Annual Passes and Annual Pass reservations are valid only for the person named on the Annual Pass. Non-Annual Pass holders need to purchase a ticket for Aquarium admission. As a Member, you can purchase tickets for your guests at a 10% discount, or you can purchase a Guest Pass and bring a different friend or family member with you each time you visit.
Visitor Tips
Our guests have told us that their visit is much more enjoyable when they leave their large strollers at home. We encourage you to bring a smaller or umbrella stroller. Complimentary stroller parking is available at our Information Desk/Coat Check, and additional stroller corrals are available outside our galleries. Strollers are not permitted in the 4D Theater. We are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and we have special extended hours for weekends and holidays. Please click here for a complete listing of our extended hours.

Purchased Annual Pass as a Gift
Thank you for purchasing a Georgia Aquarium Annual Pass as a gift. Our system will allow your gift recipient to manage their own Georgia Aquarium information through the creation of a new Web site account. The following processes will allow you to move Annual Passes you have purchased to one or more gift recipients.
Follow these steps to transfer an annual pass to another account:
- You will need the email address for the person you are transferring passes to.
- Click here to access the transfer page
- Enter your login and password
- Once you are logged in you will see a list of all passes purchased through this Web site account.
- Enter the name and the email address for the new account holder.
- Choose the passes from the list, by clicking the check boxes that need to be moved into the new account.
- Click the Transfer Annual Passes button to complete the process.
- Your gift recipient’s new account will be immediately activated.
- You can now use this information to login to your account or to review account details.
Your gift recipient can now make Annual Pass reservations online. They will need to follow these steps:
- Visit the Georgia Aquarium login page by clicking here.
- Scroll to the bottom of the login page and enter your email address to request your password. Your email address is your account login.
- The Web site will immediately send you an email that shows your Georgia Aquarium login and password.
- You can now use this information to login to your account, to review account details or make Annual Pass reservations.

Received Annual Pass as a Gift
Welcome to our Georgia Aquarium family of members. If you received an Annual Pass as a gift and the gift giver purchased the passes through the Georgia Aquarium Web site, you can make your own reservations online. Please follow the instructions below to have the gift giver transfer your pass to a new Web site account. Make sure you provide the gift giver with your email address.
The gift giver needs to do the following:
- Click here
- Enter their login and password.
- Once they are logged in they will see a list of all passes purchased through this Web site account.
- They should enter your name and email address as the new account holder.
- By clicking the appropriate boxes next to the names on the list they can move your passes into the new account.
- To complete the process click Transfer Annual Passes.
- The new account will be immediately activated.
Once this process is complete you can make Annual Pass reservations online by following these steps:
- Visit the Georgia Aquarium login page by clicking here.
- Scroll to the bottom of the login page and enter your email address to request your password. Your email address is your account login.
- The Web site will immediately send you an email that shows your Georgia Aquarium login and password.
- You can now use this information to login to your account, to review account details or make Annual Pass reservations.
