Sea Keepers Tour Buy Now
Go behind closed doors to unlock the secrets of day to day operations at Georgia Aquarium.
This tour is for ages 10 and up only.
Highlights:
- Visit the top of the live coral reef exhibit where you will discover the secrets of the tropical waters and mangrove forest, located above Tropical Diver, presented by AirTran Airways.
- Observe where the Aquarium team cares for the animals and prepares their food as you visit the Commissary and Veterinary Clinic.
- Enjoy the view at the top of the largest ocean exhibit in North America (Ocean Voyager, built by The Home Depot), and observe the world’s largest fish, the whale shark, as it swims below you.
- View the African penguins in the Correll Center Animal Care Suite.

Want to learn more about the inner-workings of the Georgia Aquarium, but don't have much time? Take a Quick Dip Tour and see your favorite animals from a whole new perspective.This tour is for ages 5 through adult only.

- After enjoying the underwater view of the freshwater river in River Scout, presented by Southern Company, join us for a top view of the river.
- Enjoy the view at the top of the world's largest exhibit (Ocean Voyager, built by The Home Depot), and observe the world's largest fish, the whale shark, as it swims below you.

Shark Themed Family Tour Buy Now
Discover the amazing sharks at the Georgia Aquarium.This tour is designed for children ages 5-10 and their families. Please sign up for a Sea Keepers Tour if everyone in your group is older than 10.
Highlights:
- During this tour, families will learn more about many sharks through hands-on activities and artifacts!
- Visit the top of the large coral reef exhibit (Tropical Diver, presented by Air-Tran Airways) to see what sharks prowl the lagoon.
- Enjoy the view at the top of the world's largest exhibit (Ocean Voyager, presented by Home Depot), and observe whale, sand tiger and black-tipped reef sharks below you!
- Test your shark knowledge while you play the “Mystery Shark Game” during your tour.

VIP Tour
Enjoy a customized tour designed exclusively for your private party. Includes exclusive views of our overhead river and the filtration system for the largest exhibit in the world!Highlights:

Suggested Tour Times (All VIP Tours require one week advance reservation): Weekdays: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Weekends: 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Cost: $550 plus admission for up to six guests, $75 for each additional guest, 10 guests total. All guests must be at least 5 years old.

General Information for Behind the Scenes Tours
All participants will meet on the main floor in front of River Scout, presented by Southern Company. A Behind the Scenes Tour sign will identify the tour. The tour guide will arrive 10 minutes before the tour start time. All tours leave on time. Guests arriving up to 10 minutes late will be escorted to join the rest of the tour already in progress. No refunds will be issued for missing part or all of a tour.
- All tours can be booked by individuals or by a group.
- No high heels allowed on the tour.
- Tours will not exceed 15 people.
- Payment in full required at the time of booking. Booking can be made by calling the Georgia Aquarium call center at 404-581-4444 or at the ticket window.
- There are no refunds for no-shows.
- Date changes must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time of the tour.
- All tours are subject to change due to medical procedures or other unforeseen circumstances.
- No food or drink is allowed on the tour.
