The Conservation Planning Specialist Group Workshop

Sep 19

Be a Part of an Exclusive Opportunity

Georgia Aquarium is proud to present a workshop to 15 individuals dedicated to the protection and conservation of threatened and valued species. As we know, conservation can be difficult and complex, but the Conservation Planning Specialist Group (CPSG) wants to provide an opportunity to develop effective planning processes in the complicated, inspiring world of conservation.

CPSG of the IUCN Species Survival Commission has been designing and facilitating collaborative species conservation planning processes for more than 40 years. In 2021 it published its Species Conservation Planning Principles & Steps, outlining how we can develop shared plans that implement action for species worldwide.

This training course will equip you with the skills and understanding needed to put these principles and steps into practice, improving your collaborative planning skills and your ability to develop more effective plans for threatened species.
