Georgia Aquarium’s 5K walk/run returns for its seventh year. Starting and finishing at one of the most recognizable landmarks in downtown Atlanta, this Peachtree Qualifier 3.1-mile course is a quick “out and back” run/jog/walk returns – recommended for ages 8 and up.
Can’t make it downtown? There’s a virtual option just for you! No matter where you live, we want you to run for the ocean.
Whether your motivation is running your first 5K, getting back in shape, preparing for the Peachtree Road Race or a longer distance race, by participating you’ll make an impact on aquatic animal conservation.
All participants will receive a runner’s bib, drawstring bag, commemorative t-shirt and collectable themed finisher medal. All proceeds for the 5K go toward the Aquarium’s research and conservation initiatives here at home and across the globe. This furthers the understanding of the ocean’s animals to aid in their survival for generations to come.
The first 200 Georgia Aquarium Members to register will receive a discounted rate of only $30 per participant.
