Here comes 2023...

Thank you for your interest in our New Year’s Eve celebration. Tickets for this event are sold out. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate or make exceptions for guests wanting to purchase additional tickets, including adding tickets to existing reservations. 
 
For future 21+ events, please check our Sips Under the Sea Events in 2023. Sips Valentine’s Day takes place on Friday, February 10. Tickets go on sale in early January!

Join us at Georgia Aquarium to ring in the new year at Downtown Atlanta’s most spectacular New Year’s Eve party. You’ll experience exclusive after-hours access to all aquarium main galleries, live entertainment, cocktails and food, topped off with a midnight champagne toast to the new year. By celebrating with us, you’re doing an ocean of good. All proceeds from our New Year’s Eve celebration go toward maximizing our efforts to research and conservation.

General Admission

  • Light bites from 8:30pm-10:30pm.
  • Four (4) alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink tickets.
  • Live music from Bogey and the Viceroy with a midnight countdown.
  • Access to main galleries until 11:30pm.
  • After midnight snack.

VIP

8:30 - 11:00pm

  • Exclusive VIP entrance at Oceans Ballroom
  • Premium open bar from 8:30pm-11:00pm
  • Wolfgang Puck Catering three-course seated dinner at 9:00pm
  • Live dueling piano show by 2Grand Entertainment

11:00pm - 1:00am

  • Access to general admission party in the atrium featuring Bogey and the Viceroy with a midnight countdown.
  • Two (2) additional drink tickets to use at general admission bars
  • Access to main galleries until 11:30pm
  • After midnight snack

Please Note:

  • Guests must be 21 or older to enter the Aquarium for this event and will be required to show ID for entry, alcoholic drink consumption and/or ticket purchase.
  • Suggested attire is evening formal/cocktail.
  • Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase with credit at event. No cash!
  • We encourage you to use rideshare but if you are driving, please do so responsibly. Purchase discounted parking in advance here.
  • General Admission Guests enter through Georgia Aquarium’s main entrance.
  • VIP Guests enter through Georgia Aquarium’s Oceans Ballroom entrance.
  • Complimentary coat check is available.
  • Tickets available online or via the call center at 404-581-4000.
  • Tickets go off sale at noon on the event date or when sold out, whichever comes first.
  • Tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the door.
  • Last entry into the event is 10:00pm.
  • Last Pour for alcohol is at 12:45am.
  • The event ends promptly at 1:00am.
  • Refunds are not available for New Year’s Eve celebrations. A date may be changed free of charge if the change is made more than 10 days in advance of the original date of your visit. If the change is made less than 10 days prior to the original date of your visit, a $20 change fee per ticket will be charged. Late arrivals, cancellations, and no shows will not be refunded or rescheduled. To change your reservation, please contact Georgia Aquarium Call Center at 404.581.4000.
