Fin-tastic Feast

Did you know our whale sharks eat up to 40 pounds of food a day? Whale, that’s quite the appetite, that puts our Thanksgiving plates to shame! Many animals eat large amounts of food to give them the energy they need daily. Some animals have adapted amazing ways to eat, so come join us and discover how! We will also explore why humans are affecting animals’ feasts and how we can ensure all marine life can eat until they’re full.

Know Before You Go

All guests are required to purchase a homeschool ticket in advance. Ticket sales for each event will close at 12:00 PM the day before the event.
  • Upon completion of the online form, you will receive your print-at-home tickets that will be required for entrance for Georgia Aquarium. Check-in location will be sent via email prior to the event.
  • Reservations are processed based on availability. After your reservation is finalized (when payment is received), you will receive a confirmation email with an order number and further instructions related to your program.
  • Participants may enter between 9:00am-12:00pm. Aquarium access will be available once open to the public. Check-in & entry into the Tuesdays in the Field event will end promptly at 12:00pm. Guest arriving after 12:00pm will not be granted entry into the event.
  • You must provide a letter of intent (or other state authorized document showing home school status) with your print-at-home ticket or confirmation number upon arrival. Guests who are unable to provide proper documentation will be asked to enter via the Main Entrance and pay the full price of admission.
  • Included in your homeschool admission is access to privileged areas, standards-based activities in the Discovery Zone gallery and admission to all Georgia Aquarium galleries and presentations.
  • All students must be accompanied by a chaperone. Chaperones must be 18 years or older and are encouraged to actively participate in activities and monitor student behavior.
  • All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will not be given for any unused portion of your order, such as no-shows or cancellations.
