Georgia Aquarium Volunteer Programs

Georgia Aquarium's volunteer team is comprised of more than 1,200 enthusiastic and extraordinary individuals who are passionate about aquatic life. Whether you have a talent for working with people or your strengths are in other areas, we can use your skills and provide you with an opportunity to join other conservation minded individuals in the Atlanta area.

You will also know you are helping to create an aquarium experience that will entertain and educate millions of people each year all while making a difference in your local community.

Beginner Environmental Leadership Program - for current high school students age 15-17 who are interested in becoming tomorrow’s leaders in environmental conservation.

Internships – for individuals age 18 and up who are looking for invaluable experience and professional connections.

Military Volunteer Program – for current, retired or veterans of the United States Armed Services who are looking to get involved within the community and support the Aquarium’s mission.

General Volunteer Program – for individuals age 18 and up who are looking to get involved at the Aquarium in guest facing or behind the scenes positions.
