We're Excited to See You!

Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday: 9am – 6pm

Friday – Sunday:  8am – 7pm

Georgia Aquarium is open to the public with limited attendance, which means you’ll get up close to the exhibits and not other visitors.

If you've visited us in the past, please note these changes have been put into place to keep our guests, staff, and animals safe:

  • Aquarium Entry

Entry to Georgia Aquarium will be scheduled in 30-minute timeslots. Your admission is only valid during the timeslot you select. Please arrive on time, this will allow us to ensure proper social distancing is maintained.

  • Masks Required

For the safety of our guests, team members and our animals, Georgia Aquarium is requiring that all guests age 3 and up wear a mask, covering their mouth and nose at all times. Masks will be available at our gate for those who might need one.

  • Reduced Capacity

Georgia Aquarium is limiting the number of guests allowed in the building at one time. This reduced capacity will allow guests to visit the Aquarium while staying an appropriate distance from other guests.

  • Temperature Screening

All guests must consent to a contactless temperature scan prior to entering the building. Any person exhibiting a fever (temperature of 100.4° or higher) will not be permitted entry.

  • Get Your Ticket

Tickets are only available online and need to be purchased in advance of your visit.

  • Ticket Pricing

All tickets are now a single price regardless of age or arrival time. Children under 3 are still free.

  • Where to Go

The main entrance has reopened with new no-contact turnstiles. Please follow signage onsite to the main entrance.

  • Parking Entrance

You must use the Luckie Street entrance for the parking deck. The Ivan Allen entrance is blocked and not accessible for vehicles or pedestrians.

Member & Anytime Ticket Reservations

To keep our guests, staff, and animals safe, we are limiting our capacity for each specific time slots during each Aquarium visit. Since your membership or ticket does not have an assigned time, please create a reservation for your visit so we know how many guests to expect.

PLEASE NOTE:  A valid ticket or membership will be required in addition to this reservation for entry into the aquarium.

Urge Congress to Support Georgia Aquarium

We need assistance for AZA-accredited Facilities in COVID-19 Relief and Economic Stimulus Legislation

Like other sectors of the economy, AZA-accredited facilities are facing significant hardships in the face of the COVID-19 crisis.  They are temporarily closed or operating at reduced capacity.  However, AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums face the unique challenge of retaining sufficient staff and supplies to care for their animals.  This will further strain budgets at a time when fewer guests are coming through their gates.

Policymakers need to hear directly from you about the need to include zoos and aquariums in COVID-19 relief and economic stimulus packages.

Please contact Congress to express your support for assistance for zoos and aquariums in economic stimulus legislation.
