Georgia Aquarium is open to the public.

If you've visited us in the past, please note these changes have been put into place to keep our guests, staff, and animals safe:

  • Aquarium Entry

Entry to Georgia Aquarium will be scheduled in 30-minute timeslots. Your admission is only valid during the timeslot you select. Please arrive on time.

  • Masks Required

In accordance with an executive order by the mayor, Georgia Aquarium is requiring our guests (3 years old and up) to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth during their visit.

  • Hand Sanitizer Stations

For added safety and convenience, you will find hand sanitizing stations located throughout the aquarium.

  • Plexiglass Barriers

You will find plexi-glass barriers installed at most major viewing windows to provide space for your group, and additional separation from other guests.

  • Social Distancing Markers

We have placed social distancing reminders and plexiglass barriers throughout the building, but we need you to be mindful of the spaces to help keep everyone safe.

  • Air Filtration

The Aquarium conducts a 100% outside air flush twice daily to pull more fresh air from the outside into the building. Along with our hospital-grade MERV 8 pre-filters and MERV 13 on our rooftop units, we utilize a mix of UV lights and-Polar ION generators located inside our air handlers to help kill mold, bacteria, and viruses in the spaces.

  • Get Tickets Online

Tickets need to be purchased in advance of your visit.

  • Where to Go

The main entrance is using no-contact turnstiles. Please follow signage onsite to the main entrance and have your ticket barcodes ready to scan from your phone or from your print at home ticket.

  • Reserved Seating for Presentations

To allow for appropriate social distancing in the various theaters, seating is limited and secured using our on-site reservation system. Use this link on the day of your visit to reserve your seats at no extra charge.

Please Note

Georgia Aquarium is operating at a reduced guest capacity. Guests are asked to arrive at their ticketed time to ensure entry.

In an effort to conserve paper, Georgia Aquarium no longer prints maps. We encourage our guests to download the Georgia Aquarium app to access a map of the Aquarium.
