We Take the Safety of Our Guests and Team Seriously

As well as providing on-site accessibility, security, and first aid, we practice cleaning and sanitization protocols processes to ensure the Aquarium is operating in accordance with the advice of the state and federal governments and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

  • Masks No Longer Required

Masks are not required but are encouraged for both Georgia Aquarium guests and team members. Masks continue to be required during Animal Encounter Programs.

  • Hand Sanitizer Stations

For your safety and convenience, you will find hand sanitizing stations located throughout the Aquarium.

  • Air Filtration

The Aquarium conducts a 100% outside air flush twice daily to pull fresh air into the building along with pre-filters, UV lights, and Polar ION generators to help kill mold, bacteria, and viruses in the spaces.

Find the location of first aid, security, accessibility, restrooms, and more with our building map. In an effort to conserve paper, Georgia Aquarium no longer prints maps. We encourage our guests to download the Georgia Aquarium app to access a map of the Aquarium.
