Santa's North Pole Village

Step into the all-new Santa’s North Pole Village, a festive experience included with Aquarium admission! Explore a winter wonderland filled with playful activities, giant games, sweet treats and holiday fun for all ages. Take a break in the village play area, enjoy seasonal treats from Mrs. Claus and browse exclusive holiday gifts, including a gingerbread whale shark plush. For an additional fee, visit Santa’s Photo Emporium to meet Santa* and capture a festive photo to treasure.

*Santa visits on select days. When Santa isn’t visiting, Domino, our whale shark mascot, will be there to greet you with cheer and pose for photos.

Holiday Tree Lighting

Daily, 10:15 AM

Start each day with a little holiday magic! Join us at 10:15 am in the atrium as our cheerful elves welcome guests and light our spectacular NEW 40-foot LED tree. This festive showcase is the perfect way to experience our dazzling new holiday lights.

Holiday Presentations

Daily

Every day during WinterTide, enjoy special holiday-themed presentations featuring our amazing animals. Discover more about bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions through fun, festive experiences that bring the magic of the season to life.

Live Music

Saturdays & Sundays, 11:30 AM-4 PM

Celebrate the season with live music from talented local performers and community groups throughout Holidays at Georgia Aquarium! Enjoy festive performances from the Atlanta Boy Choir, Alma Mexicana, Harptones, Atlanta Women’s Choir, and local musician Carey Durham. In addition, enjoy performances from the Georgia State School of Music and Tinseltones, a talented a cappella group, with performances throughout the day.

Scuba Claus

We all know Santa flies his sleigh through the night sky, but did you know he also loves to scuba dive? See Mr. Claus himself dive among our whale shark and manta rays in one of the world’s largest marine habitats, Ocean Voyager Built by The Home Depot.

Wake Up with Santa

December 5, December 13 & December 20

From 8am to 11am, enjoy a light breakfast with a view into our largest aquatic exhibit, all while Mrs. Claus and her elves set the stage for a winter wonderland. Once you’re ready, step into Santa’s workshop to meet the man himself and capture a photo to cherish for years to come. Then, you’re free to explore the entire Aquarium, where you’ll discover WinterTide décor, festive performances, and holiday magic all day long!

Members, your holiday magic starts early with presale access September 23–30! This experience includes Aquarium admission and complimentary parking.

Jingle All the Waves

Things are getting festive beneath the surface! Join us for this holiday edition of WinterTide After Hours. Our winter adults-only experience is inspired by the magic of marine animals and the joy of the ocean. Enjoy signature themed cocktails and mocktails, celebrate with atmospheric performances, and explore décor throughout the Aquarium and exhibits. It's the perfect way to celebrate the season - with just the right amount of cheer!
