From November 14, 2025 through January 2, 2026, Georgia Aquarium transforms into a shimmering winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, festive music, and ocean magic. Marvel at our towering 40-foot holiday tree, capture memories with Santa, and enjoy daily themed animal presentations that make spirits bright. Dive into the season with us — we can’t wait to sea you!

Celebrate the holidays every day with dazzling lights, themed presentations, and seasonal surprises throughout the Aquarium.

Holiday Tree Lighting

Daily, 10 AM

Join us as we welcome guests and kick off each day of the holiday season by lighting our 40-foot live tree! The tree lighting takes place in the atrium. Included with your general admission ticket, be sure to view this magical moment.

Holiday Presentations

Every day during Holidays at Georgia Aquarium, we feature exciting new holiday-themed presentations that showcase our amazing animals and teach guests about the bottlenose dolphin and California sea lion in fun and festive ways.

Photos with Santa Claus

No holiday season is complete without a visit with Santa!

During your trip to Georgia Aquarium, snap a photo with our very own seaside St. Nick. Santa Nick will be available on select dates and time, ready to hear holiday wishes from kids of all ages, and this year we will have a special appearance from Santa D. on December 7 and 14th from 3-7pm.

Scuba Claus

We all know Santa flies his sleigh through the night sky, but did you know he also loves to scuba dive? See Mr. Claus himself dive among our whale shark and manta rays in one of the world’s largest marine habitats, Ocean Voyager Built by The Home Depot.
