Spooky Adventures Beneath the Waves

October 2 – November 1

Dive into a sea of spook-tacular fun at Georgia Aquarium’s Haunted Seas! Get swept away in haunting legends, whimsical characters, and Halloween magic around every corner. From daily themed dolphin and sea lion presentations to a completely transformed atrium decked out in eerie décor, there’s frightful fun for the whole family. Come in costume and get ready for a hauntingly good time. We can’t wait to “sea” you there!

Take in Spooktacular Presentations

Daily through November 1

Dive into a Halloween adventure where the ocean gets a spooky twist! Our sea lion and dolphin presentations will feature Halloween overlays, spine-chilling music and eerie lighting, creating an underwater experience filled with family-friendly thrills and enchantment.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM–6 PM, encounter continuous strolling entertainment featuring musicians, acrobats, sideshow performers, pirates, mermaids, skeletons and other fantastical characters. Keep your eyes open for Captain Squidd and Scuttlebones, the First Mate, and you might even find yourself in a surprise up-close encounter with some of the Aquarium’s most curious creatures!

Get ready for a spooktacular adventure! Grab your scavenger hunt map and explore the Aquarium in search of spooky surprises hiding throughout the exhibits. Complete the hunt to unlock a special prize! Then, let your creativity run wild with festive crafts!

Trick-or-Treat

Saturdays & Sundays 2–6PM

Get ready for a spooktacular underwater adventure! From October 3 through November 1, explore Ocean Voyager, Tropical Diver, and River Scout as you follow a trail of X’s leading to six hidden trick-or-treat stations throughout the Aquarium. With immersive themed stops, mysterious surprises, and plenty of Halloween fun, there’s something for every little sea monster to discover!

What Lurks Beneath?

Things are getting spooky beneath the surface! Join us for this eerie edition of Haunted Seas After Hours. Our fall experience is inspired by the mysterious creatures and shadowy depths of the ocean. Enjoy signature cocktails and mocktails, dance to live DJ entertainment, and explore terrifyingly fun décor throughout the Aquarium and exhibits. It's the perfect way to celebrate the season with just the right amount of scare, if you dare!
