Exploring the Deep Ocean with NOAA
Educators of grades 6-12 are invited to join a NOAA Ocean Exploration facilitator on April 13, 2024, at Georgia Aquarium for a full-day, in-person professional development workshop. Together we’ll dive into the diverse reasons for why it is important to explore the ocean and the variety of tools and technologies that drive how we conduct expeditions in some of the most remote places on the planet.

International SeaKeepers Society and Georgia Aquarium
The International SeaKeepers Society and Georgia Aquarium invite middle and high school educators in Georgia to apply for a free two-and-a-half-day, three-night professional development opportunity in Miami, Florida. Through hands-on field experiences and research, teachers will use Biscayne Bay as a case study to explore anthropogenic impacts on different ecosystems found along coastal communities. Teachers will receive a Certificate of Completion for this professional development activity.
