IMPORTANT UPDATE:
For the safety of the animals, guests, and staff, all Animal Program participants will be required to:
- Wear a facial covering over mouth and nose AT ALL TIMES.
- Upon arrival have temperature checked and complete a questionnaire to assess recent illness and/or exposure to COVID.
Should there be a COVID risk identified, Georgia Aquarium reserves the right to reschedule participants for a later date.
- If you have had known exposure to a person who has tested positive for Covid 19, we ask that you reschedule your Animal Encounter for at least two weeks in the future. Rescheduling for this reason will not incur any additional charges or fees.
- All participants will be asked to take a short survey prior to their encounter or program to determine if they have had contact with a person who has tested positive for Covid 19. If that is confirmed, participants will be rescheduled for at least two weeks in the future without any additional charges or fees.
Due to the nature of caring for animals, Georgia Aquarium reserves the right to modify, cancel and/ or reschedule programs without notice. Reasonable accommodations will be made to reschedule guests as effectively as possible.
For guests with special needs, every effort will be made in order to allow participation in our Encounter. Please call 404-581-4000 to make a reservation and let the reservists know you have special needs and someone from the program will call you prior to your visit to review your options.
CANCELLATION AND DATE CHANGE POLICY: The program fee is non-refundable; however, the program will be rescheduled whenever possible. The Aquarium will reschedule your encounter if given notice more than 48 hours in advance. There will be a change fee of $20 per ticket if notice is given within 14 days of the original reservation date. Cancellations and no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
