Homeschool Program

Tuesdays in the Field is a specialized program created for K-12 homeschool students. The Education team is excited to offer an experience that allows students the opportunity to engage in standards-based instruction at their own pace while exploring topics in marine biology, oceanography, ecology, and other science-related fields. Included in your homeschool admission is access to exclusive areas, standards-based activities, guest speakers, and admission to all Georgia Aquarium galleries and presentations.

Our Tuesdays in the Field homeschool experience is offered on the second Tuesday of the month, from September through March, between the hours of 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Check-in to the event ends at 12:00 PM.

Tickets MUST be purchased in advance, walk-up tickets to the event are not available.

  • Chaperones are encouraged to actively participate in activities and monitor student behavior.

  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows, cancellations, or unused tickets.
  • We do not allow outside food to be brought inside the building. You can eat your lunches outside the building and come back in after you finish eating. If you need to leave the building and re-enter, you can go to the AJC Information Desk in the main atrium to get a hand stamp for re-entry.
