The Aqua Pass replaces the Resident Pass and is available to anyone, not just residents of Georgia. The Aqua Pass has all the same benefits, allowing passholders to visit Georgia Aquarium as often as they like* for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026, all for the price of a single-day ticket.

No! There are no restrictions on who can purchase an Aqua Pass.

The Aqua Pass may be used only by the named passholder. For example, in a family of four, each family member would need a named Aqua Pass.

A General Admission ticket entitles the holder to one visit to Georgia Aquarium, including all major galleries and presentations. The Aqua Pass, for the same price as a single-day ticket, allows passholders to return as often as they wish* for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026 for no extra cost.

• A Membership, along with unlimited visits to the Aquarium, includes discounts for Coastline Café and the Treasures of the Sea gift shop, as well as discounted parking, programs and animal encounters. Members are not limited by blackout dates and are able to purchase guest admission tickets at a 10% discount.
• The Aqua Pass allows pass holders to return as often as they wish* for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026 for no extra cost but does not include any further discounts. Aqua Pass holders must make a reservation prior to their visit and are subject to blackout dates.

You may purchase up to six Aqua Passes for family and friends. Note: Passes purchased together will be tied to the same Georgia Aquarium account.

Yes, there are blackout dates. They are as follows:

In 2025: November 28-30, December 26-30

In 2026: February 14-15, April 3-4 (Easter Weekend), May 22-23 (Memorial Day), July 3-5, 11, 18, 25, Sept 5- 6 (Labor Day Weekend), November 27-29, December 25-30

The Aqua Pass may be purchased at any time. Do keep in mind that reservations are required before using your Aqua Pass to visit the Aquarium.

Passholders must make a reservation for each passholder for each visit by logging into their account at georgiaaquarium.org. Passholders will not be able to visit unless they use their account to reserve an entry pass (barcode) for a specific day and time that will be scanned at the entrance. Passholders may visit as often as they wish* but must follow this process each time.

Yes, with the exception of blackout days, reservations may be made for the same day the Aqua Pass is purchased.

Georgia Aquarium uses a timed entry process to ensure building capacity is at a safe and comfortable level for all guests. With the exception of blackout days, slots will be available for Aqua Pass holders every day. At peak times, all reservations may already be taken at your preferred time. In that case, please select a different time. Times early and late in the day will typically have the most availability.

There is no need to make another same-day reservation, just arrive as close to the reservation time as possible.

Yes, experiences and other additions can be added at an additional cost during the reservation process.

Yes. Please be prepared to show photo ID to the attendant at the Aquarium entrance. The name on the ID must match the name on the Aqua Pass.

Yes, each Pass must have a person’s name attached to it and may only be used by that person.

There is no penalty for not arriving for a reservation. Simply make a new reservation for your next visit.

No, the Aqua Pass is valid through Dec. 31, 2026, and may not be paused or otherwise adjusted.
