Georgia is home to 52 incredible watersheds, each carving its own path across the state before flowing into the ocean. From the misty peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the vibrant ecosystems of Gray’s Reef, these waterways connect some of the most stunning landscapes in the Southeast.

Rivers to Reefs invites educators to step into this story of water. Your journey begins in Atlanta, exploring how water shapes our daily lives. From there, you’ll hit the road and follow the Altamaha River watershed, uncovering the deep connections between inland rivers, coastal wetlands, and offshore habitats.
