Seventy-one percent of our beautiful planet is covered by water. Our one world ocean, and all of the aquatic species that call it home, are suffering from record breaking temperatures, coastal pollution, habitat destruction and more. Georgia Aquarium is committed to the conservation and safeguarding of our world ocean and all of its aquatic inhabitants and is proud to announce the newest effort in our research and conservation, our exclusive new wines.
We have created our very own cabernet and chardonnay wine, Georgia Aquarium Seventy-One. Our chardonnay displays a vibrant golden hue that is filled with fresh aromas of flowers and exotic fruits. The palate is dry, full and rich with exceptional freshness and prolonged length of flavor. Our cabernet sauvignon offers a beautiful, aromatic nose of plums and spices. The palate is full and rich with an exuberant depth of fruit and elegant, silky tannins.
Both wines are produced and bottled by Les Vignerons de la Vicomté in southern France and imported by Five Grapes LLC. Georgia Aquarium is proud to unveil our decadent new wines at our annual Aqua Vino event on October 4, 2019. After its debut, you can find Seventy-One wine at select independent specialty stores, as well as at Seaside Delights in the Aquarium. It will also be added to our wine selection menu for private events hosted in our Oceans Ballroom venue space.
Every glass or bottle of wine sold will benefit the Aquarium’s research and conservation efforts. In addition to our wine, products tied to the wine will be available for purchase in our gift shop with a portion of those proceeds also being donated to research and conservation as well.
